CONSTITUTION DAY

Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat Utsav was observed at Arwachin international school on 25.11.21 as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The students of classes 1 to 12 participated. The students researched about the Indian Constitution and prepared a Unity pledge. Students and teachers took the unity pledge in the morning assembly in English and Hindi. Students were also told about the making of Indian constitution.

    GURU NANAK JAYANTI

    The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji, the first of the ten Sikh gurus and founder of Sikhism is celebrated as 'Gurpurab'. To observe this auspicious Sikh festival the school organised a special assembly on 18.11.21. It commenced with singing of Shabad. Hargun Singh, Subeg Singh of class 4 and Jujhar Singh of class 3 explained three teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji using placards. Nishtha Tomar of class 9 delivered a Hindi speech in which she highlighted about Guru Nanak Dev Ji's life and his thoughts. Arshdeep Kaur presented a solo Shabad in her melodious voice. Rishit Jindal of class 9 delivered an English speech in which he stated how the festival is celebrated with religious fervour globally.

      FANCY DRESS COMPETITION

      The students of Arwachin participated in a Fancy Dress Competition organised at G.S. Medical College on 17.11.21 as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The students were very excited for the competition. Shreshta Garg of class 4B, who was dressed as Shiv Ji won 2nd Prize. The other students represented themselves as Doctor, Teacher, Fruits etc. Some of them tried to spread a message through their attire like Save Water. All the participants were given the certificates.

        CHILDREN DAY CELEBRATION

        "Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow."
        The school celebrated the birth anniversary of our first PM as Children's Day on 13.11.21. All the teachers worked hard to make the students feel special. The program began with a beautiful song by Ms. Bhawna Bhardwaj. Ms. Vidhu mesmerised everyone with her solo dance performance. A motivational speech was delivered by Mr Nitin. The students cheered their teachers when they heard their group song. Mr. D.P Sharma highlighted the importance of the day in his informative speech. The last performance was a group dance, which  was enjoyed by all. The Principal applauded the teachers for the wonderful program.

          DIWALI CELEBRATION

          The festival of Diwali signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance. The Arwachinians celebrated the festival in the school on 2.11.21. 
          The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The students of class 8 ignited the religious zeal by presenting Ram stuti. Chavi of class 6 A and Darsh Bansal of class 5 mesmerised everyone with their dance performances. The students of classes 4 and 5 sang Saraswati Vandana. A beautiful dance was performed by Pakhi Mittal of class 6B on Shubharambh song. A group dance by class 7B on Durga song was applauded by all. At last the Principal addressed the students with his precious words and appreciated the hard work put in by the students. The program concluded with an Arti.
