Computer Workshop

On Thursday, 29 November 2018, the computer teachers from AIS PILKHUWA had attended a workshop on “How Teaching, Learning process can be facilitated by employing new methodologies”.   The venue of the workshop was Hotel Dream Palace, Delhi Road, Civil Lines, Bulandshahr-203001.  The topic of the workshop centered on the need of using innovative and new teaching methodology in the class room so that students could be taught in latest way which is at par with current prevailing teaching systems.  It was felt that there is an urgent need to bridge the gap between the professionally and conventional teaching methods.  It is necessary for teaching professionals to upgrade themselves with the latest teaching methodology.

In the workshop it was stressed to impart teaching with latest educational tools in the class room.  The workshop successfully conveyed the message of making optimum use of latest technology to achieve parity with modern teaching methods prevailing around the world.

    Empower of Women

    The present era marks the restoration of women’s status and dignity. To highlight this point of view and trend the girls came to school dressed in different attires. During the interaction between them and other persons including teachers and students, it was stressed that what matters most is noble ideas and mode of behaviour and they felt that there is an urgent need to empower women to restore their prestige. For this purpose videos too were shown in the classrooms. India is known for unity in diversity. Despite so many cultures and traditions, India is one. To highlight this perspective, videos were shown in the classrooms.

      Natural Disasters (2018)

      Natural Disasters

      Natural disasters often take us unawares and cause an irreparable loss to human lives and property. With this perspective, the students were given a project to highlight the after math of such calamities. This activity with natural disasters as its theme was accomplished by the students of class- V on Tuesday, 20th November 2018. Their projects included the pictures of volcano, earthquake, cyclone, floods and tsunami and their effect on human race. The S.St teacher asked them questions of different kinds in viva voce. This activity greatly enriched the students’ knowledge of natural phenomena. 

        Solo Dance Competition

        Solo Dance Competition was organised for tiny tots. Rythm & feet movements mode the day full of music and joy. Children enjoyed the whole session of tapping feet. All the students prepared for this competition and performed very enthusiastically. Competition was juged according to the following criteria –

          S.S.t Activity

          On Friday, 16th November 2018 the S.St teacher organised an activity for the students of III – A and III – B. The topic was Pulses, Grains & Spices. The students were taught how to identify pulses, grains and spices. The seeds of pulses, grains and spices were pasted on notebooks by the students. The activity proved very helpful in enabling the students to differentiate between pulses and grains.

            SEDIMENTATION

            Students learn many times more through experiments than just memorizing the contents- with this perspective, the student of class- V were asked to do experiments based on the concept of Sedimentation.  They accomplished the experiment planned to bring them home how Sedimentation occurs and how it is important in everyday life.

              Diwali Celebration (2018)

              Tuesday, 5th November 2018 was observed as Diwali Celebration Day at Arwachin International School, Pilkhuwa. The students of different classes were assigned different activities which they tried to accomplish with meticulous care and perfection. With passion worth cherishing, The children of classes I – III engaged themselves in Diya Making activity. The students of IV & V grade were absorbed in making rangolis of various kinds. The students from VI – VIII assumed the task of making attractive kandeels, where as those in class IX & X undertook the responsibility of drawing and describing the significance of Diwali. All the students were busy with their work and their absorption in the tasks assigned to them foreshadowed their roles in future that they were going to be pillars of the nation. The whole atmosphere was surcharged with celebration and jubilation. The director Ms. Ayushi Sharma and the manager Mr. Akshat Sharma surveyed the children’s performance and didn’t fail to appreciate and bless them. The whole session proved very busy and prolific today.
