Friday, 31st August 2018, Janmashtami Celebration was observed at
Arwachin International School, Pilkhuwa. Dressed as Gopies, Krishna and Radha,
the students performed folk dances in tune with folk songs relating to Lord
Krishna’s life. Their songs reminded one of how Krishna used to play the flute
and enchant the gopees.
would dance to the tune of the flute but Lord Krishna did not confine himself
to just revelling with Gopees and enjoying. He propagated the theory of karma.
Good actions done selflessly and without the craving for reward bring good
results. So, what matters most is good intentions and good actions. Sooner or
later they are sure to bear good results. Hence oun should not be weary or sick
of taking initiatives. Judged from this view point, the Gita exhorts human
beings to be dynamic and optimistic. It categorically rejects pessimism. Many a
student recited shloks from the Gita having the similar implication. Having
mesmerised everyone, the students received blessings from the elders. The
Principal summarised the message of this festival and blessed the students. The
presence of the director Ms. Ayushi Sharma and the Manager Mr. Akshat Sharma
added beauty to this programme. It was indeed a presentation worth cherishing.
